Anna is a graphic and type designer from Russia. She studied type and typography at the Moscow University of Printing Arts in 2018. After that she worked as a freelance graphic designer with cultural and art institutions. After graduation she worked as a type designer in Contrast Foundry. A thirst for new knowledge led her to Israel, where she delved into the study of Hebrew, Jewish culture and the development of Hebrew typefaces. In 2022, she graduated from the TypeMedia course at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague and started her practice as an independent type designer in the Netherlands. Today she is balancing commercial projects with her own experimental typefaces and teaching type design online.
